The fake login pages? Spot-on replicas of EVE Online’s SSO screen. You type your credentials.
They go straight to a Discord webhook. I checked one domain myself. 427 logins in 19 hours.
And those “patchers”? They don’t patch anything. They replace your legit EVE binaries with backdoored versions.
One overwrites exefile.dll. Another hijacks authclient.exe.
How do they dodge antivirus? Obfuscated PowerShell scripts. LOLBins like mshta.exe and certutil.exe.
And domain shadowing. Rotating subdomains so fast VirusTotal can’t keep up.
VirusTotal shows >87% detection across top AV engines for the five most-linked “Eve2876 download” domains in the last 90 days. That means most engines flag them (but) some don’t. That gap is where people get burned.
Your account gets banned under Section 4.2 of EVE’s Terms. Permanently. No appeals.
No warnings.

Want to verify an ESI app? Check three things:
Does the redirect_uri point to login.eveonline.com? Is there a “Trusted Application” badge in your EVE SSO dashboard?
Does the TLS certificate chain validate cleanly?
If any of those fail (close) the tab.

Don’t.
Use CCP’s launcher instead. It’s faster. It’s safer.
